Summary | 0055170: [24Q2] When creating a customer with a name that is too long, there is no error message and the customer is apparently created
Description | When creating a customer in POS1 or Backoffice, there is a length limit for their name and lastname, and you cannot exceed it. If you try to exceed the length, the interface prevents you from doing it, and it informs about it with a message. However, in POS2, you can exceed the maximum length and apparently create the customer (there is no message or nothing that prevents you from doing it), so you can use it as normal, but only in your current terminal or until you clean the cache. Actually, the customer is not created in the backoffice; instead it goes to Errors While Importing, so the POS2 should reflect that.
Steps To Reproduce | 1) Log into POS2 2) Click on the business partner field above the active order (usually 'VBS Customer' by default) 3) In the 'Search Customer to Assign' dialog, click on 'New Customer' 4) Select a value for 'Greetings' 5) Type any name, such as: Abercronbie 6) Type a very long last name, such as: Fisher Dasivala Rodriguez de la Rosa Dinero Fernandez Aguas 7) Click Save => The customer is apparently created and it can be used as normal 8) Log into Backoffice, go to Business Partner window, and search for the customer => It will not appear 9) Go to Errors While Importing POS2 Data => There will be an entry saying that the customer is not created because it is too long
