| Description | Material Requirement Planning (MRP) || Transactions || Manufacturing Plan || Header Material Requirement Planning (MRP) || Transactions || Manufacturing Plan || Header When Work Requirements get generated from the Manufacturing Plan (MRP), it does not reflect the conversion rate and process quantity (snapshot 02) If you enter a Work Requirement manually (see snapshot 03) it will do that, based on the process plan (see snapshot 01). The system generated work requirement is using the same process plan, so the conversion rate should be picked up from that and the process quantity should be filled out also. | |||||||

hi The conversion rate is there now, but it was fixed incorrect. The quantities generated by MRP should appear in the 'quantity' field, not in the 'process quantity' field. I'll attach a snapshot, where you can see that the output of MRP was to produce 600 pieces. This appeared in the 'process quantity' and the batch size is 8, so the produce quantity will be 75.001!! |

Now I see what the problem is: the quantity 600 is appearing correct, but the 75 should be just 75, not 75.001 (due to the US setup I guess, it looks like 75 thousand and 1 instead of 75). However, there it's incorrect that it's coming up with 75.001 instead of 75.000. So it's correct that 600 is in the process quantity and the 75 is in the quantity field. Sorry for the confusion! |

Another example (snapshot 2) of the incorrect calculation of the Quantity field as a result from MRP: 206.251 units to be produced! The system should round up to the nearest whole quantity and based on that change the process quantity. |
