Summary | 0005270: 'Database Error' when changing User Role
Description | When trying to change a role of an user (via 'User Roles' tab), 'Database Error' displays (with no other message in the log file). This bug also reproduces in 2.3x branch but does not reproduce in the trunk.
Steps To Reproduce | 1) Log in as 'Openbravo Admin'. 2) Select an user in 'General Setup || Security || User || User'. 3) Go to 'User Roles' tab and edit one record changing its role, for instance, from 'Admin' to 'Production'.
Proposed Solution | 'Database Error' message displays.

In addition to this: 1) You will be able to change the Role to one the user already has. For instance, if User A has roles Role 1 and Role 2 you will be able to update the drop-down value from Role 1 to Role 2 and from Role 2 to Role 1. But you will not be able to change Role drop-down value from Roles 1 and 2 to Role 3. 2) In the case that you were able to change the Role, you will notice that, even if '1 row/s updated' message displays, the record is not changed. For instance, if you try to update in User A (that has Role 1 and Role 2) Role 1 by Role 2, update successful will display but in grid mode you will keep seeing Role 1 and Role 2 not Role 2 twice. |

As this bug is due to trying to update a column that is part of the primary key and now there is a new primary key column for this table this bug does not longer affect to trunk. |
