| Summary | 0004727: Product sub-categories in Openbravo ERP | |||||||
| Description | Currently the Openbravo ERP does not have a possibility to have sub-categories for products. This is making the integration for Openbravo POS and E-commerce suites difficult as those have structured product categories. Also if a Client has more than 10 000 products the maintenance of products and profitability reporting gets really an issue. As this issue has been raised several times I think that it would be better to have this in standard package instead of everyone implementing incompatible solutions. | |||||||
| Proposed Solution | Just do it, but reporting capabilities or other advance features can be left out if there is not enough time or knowledge to implement them immediately. The most important thing is to get the structure done one "correct" way. | |||||||
