Summary

0022039: [Reliability] purchase order, when i try enter the line details through Create line from option, system throws error message

DescriptionIn Grid view in Goods receipt window, created a new record in grid view. Then i tried to add line item details using "Create Lines from" option. in the create line from popup after selecting the purchase order line details when i click OK button. system throws below error message.

"This record cannot be deleted because it is associated with other existing elements. Please see Linked Items"
Steps To ReproduceNavigate to goods receipt window,
In grid view, click Ctrl + I to enter new record
After entering the BP details, click "Create Lines from" to select the line item details
In the popup, after selecting the PO line details, then i click OK button

 I tried reproducing this issue. But I'm not able to do it. I tried in it in the recent pi version. Can you give us little more detailed steps for this?

 Go to respective window by clicking Ctrl + o then enter the window name,
The window will get displayed in grid view,
Then click Ctrl + i to insert new record,
Then enter the BP details, with out saving the record cick the short cut key (ctrl + shift + Alt + c)

you will get this error.

(i used Chrome browser while testing)

 The root cause of this issue was that the autosave was not working properly on
the grid, so if a process was called on a line that was not yet saved, the
process would fail.

This problem was fixed in the issue 22625
