| Summary | 0021401: Cleared Payment Account in the Financial Account Accounting Configuration is not default | |||||||
| Description | When you create a new Financial Account, the default accounts are automatically populated in the Accounting Configuration tab based on the Accounting Schemas defaults. The Cleared Payment account, however, is left without any default. This can result in failed posting if the payment methods used for this Financial Account are configured to account at transaction clearing. | |||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Create a new fianancial account and review the configuration. | |||||||
| Proposed Solution | The Cleared Payment Account should be defaulted to the same value as the Deposited Payment Account for payment in and Whitdrawn Payment Account for payment out. | |||||||

Test Plan I: 1. Go to Financial Account window 2. Create a new record. 3. Set the type to Bank 4. Save it 5. Go to Accounting Configuration tab 6. Ensure the Cleared Payment Account for payment IN is the same as the Deposit Account 7. Ensure the Cleared Payment Account for payment OUT is the same as the Withdrawal Account Test Plan II: 1. Go to Financial Account window 2. Create a new record. 3. Set the type to Cash 4. Save it 5. Go to Accounting Configuration tab 6. Ensure the Cleared Payment Account for payment IN is the same as the Deposit Account 7. Ensure the Cleared Payment Account for payment OUT is the same as the Withdrawal Account |
