0020597: Date Picker does not use quarters intelligently

DescriptionFor reporting and filtering, quarters are used in absolute terms, not relative terms. For example, you want to know about last year´s Q3 performance, which is 01.07.2011 until 30.09.2011. Currently we use N quarters ago, which calculates n quarters backwards from the current date, which is not very useful.
Steps To ReproduceIn a grid column filter, try to look at sales invoices for Q3 2011.
Proposed SolutionReplace current "N quarters ago" with

- First Quarter
- Second Quarter
- Third Quarter
- Fourth Quarter

and after the selection, the stepper shows YEAR. The combos below are hidden, as well as the From label.

The date range (e.g. 01.07.2011-30.09.2011) is shown in brackets to the right as a verification for the user.

 Is a feature request imhv, the same can be achieved by setting the date from/to to the start and end of a specific quarter. But the proposed solution is better from a usability pov.
