| Summary | 0020193: Accounting Schema Table defined as "Disable for background" can not be posted when running "GL Posting by DB tables" | |||||||||||
| Description | Problem is that when manual "GL Posting by DB tables" process is launched, it really considered as a background process so error "This task cannot be executed while background process is active" is obtained. Moreover, if you unschedule Background Accounting Process, table documents are not posted as they are marked as "Disabled for background" | |||||||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. Go to Accounting Schema Tables, and set C_Invoice table as "Disable for background" 2. Go to "GL Posting by DB tables" and select C_Invoice table and try to post 3. You will obtain error "This task cannot be executed while background process is active" although you are really launching manual posting 4. Go to Process Request window and Unschedule "AcctServer" process 5. Create Sales Invoice with any data 6. Go to "GL Posting by DB tables" and select C_Invoice table and try to post. Although you receive message "Direct Launch process started 2012-04-03 12:14:13.823 - Table = Purchase Invoice - Sales Invoice - Created=0" 7. Go to Sales Invoice and verify that post button is in status "Disabled for background". Realize that you are able to post sales invoice pressing Post button directly in the document | |||||||||||
