Summary | 0016848: Ability to set a widget as not removeable
Description | Currently, in Openbravo Professional Edition, users can remove all widgets from their workspace. Sometimes, it might be interesting to do not allow users removing certain widgets. For example, "VP of Sales" want all their "Sales Representative" see their personal sales results. It would be great if the system admin could set some widgets as not removeable so that these widgets are always showed in the workspace.

If you are a regular user, you always can delete a widget, but you can also add it again, so at the end the user could set his workspace in the best way it could be for his needs. Said that, the only circumstance a company would like to set a fixed widget is for advertising purposes (any kind). Another different case could be 'Portal' case (included since 3.0MP22), where the user cannot add widgets, so he cannot delete them neither. |
