Summary | 0016474: Allow entering a date filter directly on the field
Description | The new function to filter by date range is really great. But I think that it is possible to keep also the previous functionality of the date filter. The date filter has a textfield and a button. Currently, if you click on either of them the date range pop up opens. What I suggest is to allow the textfield to be edited directly, so that if I enter the date 25-03-2011, the grid will be filtered showing only the records with that exact date. Just as it was done on previous versions. But, if I want a date range, I will still be able to open the popup by clicking the button next to the textfield.
Steps To Reproduce | Log in with Openbravo/openbravo Switch to role F&B Admin Go to Sales Management > Transactions > Sales Order Click a date filter field.
Proposed Solution | Allow both functionalities: filter by a date range through the pop up. filter by a single date, entering it on the textfield.

Yes, that would be good. Ideal behaviour is allowing both as follows: - tabbing or clicking into the field: you can type a date - pressing CTRL-ENTER keyboard shortcut or clicking the date picker: launch the date range dialog |
