0016302: I cannot enter dates values by typing because an usability issue

DescriptionWhen I try to type a date, let's say "02/15/2011" (working in mm/dd/yyyy format), after typing the 2 the cursor is moved back, locating it between the zero and the two so when I type the slash it looks like "0/2".
This behavior does the value typing extremely difficult.

 Tested in FF4rc1, IE8 and Chrome10. Using Chrome it cannot be reproduced. Here, some extra details about how it can be reproduced:
1.Open the popup
2.Without using the mouse, try to fill a date. The From date has the focus by default.
2.1. When using FF4 you can start typing and the issue can be reproduced. Type "02" and the cursor will move one step in wrong direction
2.2. When using IE8 you cannot start typing. You must hit Tab key and Shift+Tab to return. Then, the issue can be reproduced.

 I could not reproduce on ff 3.6 or FF4rc1. But I can reproduce on IE8. It also happens in the Smartclient demo environment, so it seems to be a smartclient problem.
