| Summary | 0010169: Create Accounting Process does not diaplay any results in General ledger journal | |||||||
| Description | While creating accounting process it does not display any results in Analysis tools->General ledger journal. The problem is that the accounting process is not doing anything. But if you go to any document you can post it manually. So it is clear that the accounting process does not work | |||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Login as userA Go to Financial management->Accounting->Transactions->Reset accounting. Make sure all the accounting entries have been removed Go to Financial management->Accounting->Transactions->GL Posting by DB Tables No tables selected Click OK Nothing happens. The process is not launched. It used to be a blue message saying the tables that were posted To ensure there is no accounting entries (so it is wrong) go to Financial management->Accounting->Analysis tools->General ledger journal Click on button "Html" and verify there is results No results are displayed there. | |||||||

Ok. Problem located. Issue is with the periodic background process. Till now, before launching the manual process, just checked that periodic process is not active. After de-activating the periodic process, it continue to works, until it finishes the current iteration. Problem is that if manual process is launched, while background process is also working, nothing is done. Fix is that, now, it checks that background process is not active, and not actually working. |
