| Description | It doesn't make sense to have the Sales Forecast screen in the MRP module instead of the Sales Management module. I understand that MRP uses the Sales Forecast, but this is a Sales screen and should be maintained by Sales, so it makes more sense to have it in the Sales Management module. | |||||||

I believe that manufacturing forecast and sales forecast are different concepts. Currently Openbravo supports the former but not the latter. |

Well, that clarifies things. So the name 'Sales Forecast' is incorrect then. Please change to 'Manufacturing forecast'. |

Is there any action taken on this issue? Looks like a simple change of name. Not sure why it has no activity for one year. |

Since the Sales Forecast is used both in the Manufacturing Plan and the Purchasing plan of MRP, I suggest a more general name that suggested before (before the name Manufacturing forecast was suggested, but would not cover the use in the Purchasing Plan): 'Planning Forecast' or 'MRP Forecast' cheers Renate |

Label was fixed in another Issue. Moving window to Sales is not required at this point as this window just applies to MRP. When the window is enhanced to be used as part of sales, it will make sense to move it. |
