Summary | 0048901: Allow skip the check of Max Time Work in Offline
Description | when the preference: Web POS Maximum time which the terminal can be offline is configured, when the time is reached, a popup is displayed locking the terminal. Im asking to create an Approval to allow skip this lock
Steps To Reproduce | . configure the preference: Web POS Maximum time which the terminal can be offline to 60 seconds . do login in pos . go to offline . wait 60 seconds . do logout . do login popup with error message is displayed: Maximum offline time exceeded (see attachment)
Proposed Solution | - create an approval that allow a manager with an Admin rights to skip this check, so this preference is not taken into account, if offline. - take into account that this approval will always happen when you are offline. - save this information (name of the manager, date and time, and the store/terminal) in a specif table so it is possible to keep tracking of the actions that were taken when back online.

A Jira entry will be created to manage this after being reviewed with Retail team, if required. |

It is not possible to implement an approval process while being offline particularly in old releases, as Approvals require online connection unless the same action was already approved in online mode before. Therefore, we don't have a clean way to implement this requirement, for versions such as 19Q3 Our recommendation would be to create temporary a preference to increase the limit to what would make them comfortable, therefore this issue will be closed. On another hand: there is an issue related to support the configuration of this kind of preference by country/client. This last one is pending to be resolved. See issue related 48908 |
