Summary

0023176: Year close accounting entries are not reflected in the balance sheet

DescriptionHere is my scenario:

1) I have loaded all the historical balances for my accounts on 31-Dec-2011 and I have actual daily operations starting from Jan 1 2012.
2) I have configured the General Ledger to use account 32130 as Current Operating Income and 32120 as retained earnings.
3) I closed the periods up to Dec-11
4) Running the Balance Sheet and Income Summary, I can see that the current operating income is calculated properly and it shows the correct amount both as income summary in the P&L and as current operating income in the balance sheet
5) In the Fiscal Calendar window, I select 2011 and click on Close Year
6) As expected, I can verify in the Accounting Transaction Details screen that two sets of accounting entries have been created;
. Regularization entry, which takes all revenues and expenses and takes them to zero posting to the Current Operating Income account
. Closing entry that moves Current Operating Income to Retained Earnings
7) I can see that these transactions exists and if I run the Trial Balance report for Jan 1, 2012, I can see that the retained earnings account has been properly credited.
8) However, if I run the balance sheet report for both 2011 and 2012, I do not see the retained earnings. All the income remains under current operating income.

Fixes Issue 23176. Updates ModuleScript to set the Accounting
Entries of the Divide Up Accounting group to Divide Up Acctype.
