0008208: 250 VM: Purchasing Plan: Error when Processing

DescriptionMaterial Requirement Planning (MRP) || Transactions || Purchasing Plan || Header

When running the purchasing plan in 250 VM I get an error (see snapshot 1) and also when running in our 250 Training environment (based on 250 alpha r11) (see snapshot 2)
Steps To ReproduceMRP || Setup || Planner: create John Planner
MRP || Setup || Planning Method: Pending Purchase Order and Pending Sales Order
update product Hammer:
Purchasing tab: minimum order qty=1, Purchasing leadtime= 14 Qty type= multiple, Standard qty=1,
Org specific tab: Planning method= as above created, Planner=John Planner, Minimum qty= 500, qty type= multiple, Standard qty=500, Minimum leadtime=7, safety stock=1000
PO: BP= Obelix, on the line 40 Hammers
SO: BP=Red bunny, on the line 350 hammers
Enter Purchasing Plan:
Time horizon=60
Safety leadtime=2
Planner=John Planner
Product=Hammer
rest of the filters blank
'Process Purchase Plan'

Now the variable data type numeric has been changed to varchar2.

If you want Create VAT Registers process to be fixed ASAP, please detail the steps to reproduce this issue.

 First of all I'm using an imported client.

Financial Management || Receivables & Payables || Setup || Tax Payment
create a register type for Sales Tax (checkbox Sales transaction selected) for AR Invoice and for Purchase Tax (checkbox Sales transactions not selected) for AP invoice

Then enter and complete a Sales Invoice and a Purchase Invoice

Financial Management || Receivables and Payables || Transactions || Tax Payment
for starting date 1st of this month, end date last day of the month
select 'generate payment'
Click 'Create VAT Registers'

Then the error message appears: see the snapshot I added

 Renate,

I could not able to reproduce the attached screen shot(100409ProcessTaxPaymentSuccess.jpg).

I did the steps as you said.

Please let me know if any specific configuration(more detail steps) is needed to reproduce this issue.

A snapshot is added for success message.

 I saw that issue 8215 was fixed, which is for Tax Payment also, so I've asked Rok to put the changes in our environment (which he will do this afternoon) and I'll be retesting this afternoon then.

I'll let you know the outcome,
