Summary

0040943: The stock sometimes goes to a parent org and sometimes to a child org when doing a movement between 2 child orgs

DescriptionThe stock sometimes goes to a parent org and sometimes to a child org when doing a movement between 2 child orgs. Checked in Warehouse Operations window.
Steps To Reproduce Allow Goods Transaction outside AWO for Goods Movements preference must be set to 'Y'

1. Go to window Goods Movement with AWO-QA Admin and create a new record
2. Select the following data Organization: US
    Name: US East Coast to US West Coast
    Add some lines
3. Click on Move a Storage Bin Button
4. In the pop up in "Storage Bin From" click on the Locator Icon
5. In the search option displayed remove all options prefilled or search by Warehouse= %EAST% and select Beverage101
6. Now again in the pop up in "Storage To" click on the Locator Icon
7. In the search option displayed remove all options prefilled or search by Warehouse= %WEST% and select Beverage103
10. Click Ok and on Process Movements and OK

11. Go to Warehouse Operations window, go to the newly created record.
And realize that the organization is US when other times will be US West Coast

 Updated as a Design Defect.

The functional problem is that the information shown in Warehouse Operations Window is based on the Organization which has AWO enabled. It is exactly the same problem as the one reported in Issue 38530

The solution is to fix the Design Defect 41029 which proposes to move the 'Enable AWO' flag from the Organization to the Warehouse.

By doing so, the Warehouse Operations window will not be filtered by stock organization, it will be filtered by Warehouse instead, making the functional problem of this issue disapear.

 As explained above, when managing the Storage Detail Table in Openbravo the Organization is not being taken into account as a Stock dimension.

Therefore, as of now, the stock is not differentiated per Organization.

In order to properly fix this design defect, it is needed to have this differentiation, and modify all the processes that updates the stock to reflect the change.
