Summary

0029715: Using outdated browsers has different behaviour between ERP and webPOS

DescriptionWhen navigating to login window using a non supported browser version like Safari for Windows, I get an alert from ERP that allows me to continue, while the webPOS gets stuck in login screen.

When navigating to login window using a non recommended browser version like Safari 7, I get no alert on ERP, while the webPOS shows a message about a non recommended version.
Steps To ReproduceGo to ERP login page with Safari for Windows or other non supported version. Check the alert and that you can log in to the system.

Go to webPOS login page with Safari for Windows or other non supported version. Check that a message is shown but you cannot login.

Go to ERP login page with Safari iOS 7 (i.e. iPad2). Check that no message is shown.

Go to webPOS page with Safari iOS 7 (i.e. iPad2). Check that a warning message is shown "Your browser is not recommended. Please, update your browser"
Proposed SolutionBoth behaviour and message should be the same in both systems. Commerce solution is seen as a single product by our customers so a consistent behaviour is also expected from both front and back end.
