Summary

0028783: Callout can't populate column's value when the field is not present in the tab

DescriptionA callout can't update the value of a column if this column doesn't have a field associated in the tab.
Steps To ReproduceInstall the last available version of service contract management template. Ensure you get the Service Contract Management module v.1.2.17 or higher.

As System admin:
Go to Windows, tabs and fields, search for the Contract window
In the first tab, search for the currency field and delete it.

As group admin:
Go to price list window and change the currency of any of the records
Go to contract type and create a new record. Sales Contract=Y
Go to Contract Invoice Schedule and create a new record
Go to contract. Select the previous contract type and contract invoice schedule, fill the rest of the fields and save the contract.

If 0028782 is not fixed, you won't be able to save the contract because the currency is not set. However the SE_PriceListChange callout is trying to populate the currency

If 0028782 is fixed, then select a price list with a different currency and save the record. Query the database and verify the currency hasn't been updated

* downgrading severity to minor because it has an easy workaround: add the field to the tab
* moving to design defect: implementing this, requires a refactor in FIC which is a kernel and sesitive kernel piece
