Summary

0026546: Delivery location field empty after creating a shipment from an order which does have that field informed

DescriptionDelivery location field is empty after creating a shipment from an order which does have that field filled-in.
Steps To ReproduceCreate a Sales Order for a customer which does have three addresses, an invoice address and two shipment addresses (one and two).

In the field "Delivery Location" of the Sales order, enter the shipment address do not selected in the field "Partner Address".

Book the order.

Navigate to the Goods Shipment window. Enter a new record and select the BP.
Press the process button "Create Lines From", select the order previously created as well as the warehouse location where the goods are going to be taken from. Press OK.

Realize that the field Delivery Location is empty.

Besides the above, if the delivery location is filled in it is not printed but the partner address (shipment address).
Proposed SolutionThe field Deliery Location must show the delivery location entered in the Sales Order if any. Delivery Location needs also to be printed if the Goods Shipment is printed.

  Go to Business Partner window and select Restaurantes Luna Llena, S.A.
    Edit the record in Location/Address tab and set Shipping Address = 'N'
    Create a new record in Location/Address tab:
      1st Line: Av. de las Fuentes, 56
      Postal Code: 61764
      City: Valencia
      Country: Spain
      Region: Valencia
      Name: Valencia, Av. de las Fuentes, 56
      Shipping Address: Y
      Invoincing Addres: N
    Create another record in Location/Address tab:
      1st Line: C\Blancafort
      Postal Code: 08009
      City: Barcelona
      Country: Spain
      Region: Barcelona
      Name: Barcelona, C\Blancafort
      Shipping Address: Y
      Invoincing Addres: N
  Go to Sales Order window and create a new record:
    Business Partner: Restaurantes Luna Llena, S.A.
    Partner Address: .Barcelona, C\Blancafort
    Delivery Location: .Valencia, Av. de las Fuentes, 56
    Create a new record in Lines tab:
      Product: Zumo de Piña 0,5L
      Ordered Quantity: 10
  Go to Goods Shipment window and create a new record:
    Business Partner: Restaurantes Luna Llena, S.A.
    Partner Address: .Barcelona, C\Blancafort
    Using Create Lines From button create a line from the previous order created and check
      Delivery Location: .Valencia, Av. de las Fuentes, 56
    Remove the record in Lines tab
    Set Delivery Location: .Barcelona, C\Blancafort
    Using Create Lines From button create a line from the previous order created and check that Delivery Location field is not updated
    Set Delivery Location: .Valencia, Av. de las Fuentes, 56
    Clic on Print button
    Open the Report and check the delivery location is used instance partner address
