0022732: Impossible to delete user

DescriptionI tried to delete a user but this error occurs: "This record cannot be deleted because it is associated with other existing elements. Please see Linked Items"

When I see the user form, and expand Linked Items, this message appears:

"Linked items canot be shown. There are too many columns linked with this item."

So I get stuck there.

Steps To ReproduceI have not tried to do it with other user, but this is the first user I created.
Proposed SolutionCorrect the Linked Items view.

What kind of proposed solution is "Correct the Linked Items view"? Linked items view shows nothing, that is why I reported the problem.

Well, never mind. After I installed an update, my OpenBravo installation get corrupted for ever, very sensitive the system is. Fortunately I had very little information and if this happened at the beginning of entering information, this probably will happen when I will have a lot of information, so by using OpenBravo is very risky. I threw OpenBravo away and started using OpenERP, this is better.

Thanks anyway,

Regards,
Jaime

Hi Jaime,

That proposed solution was entered by the reporter of the issue, which is you, or at least someone who reported it using your username. If it had been updated by any other developer the update would be shown in the issue history (check it below, I just appended a point to the it and the update is shown). In any case, the proposed solution field is used as a hint for the person who is going to fix the issue, not a "workaround" that we are proposing you to avoid fixing the issue.

The issue has not been closed, it has just been changed to design defect because it is caused by a defect in the design of the linked items feature.

Regards,

Augusto
