Description | If your system is configured to use comma character as decimal separator and then you try to add a line using "Create Lines From" button, comma is not properly interpreted and wrong number is entered. It is not reproducible in local environments but in appliance environments | |||||||
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Download vmware 250mp27 2. Modify Format.xml file and set ',' as decimal separator for all fields 3. Procurement Management || Transactions || Goods Receipt || Header : press "Create Lines From" button and select any order. Edit quantity field and set 1,8 4. Go to lines and realize that quantity introduced has been 18 instead of 1,8 | |||||||

The separator in postgresql is defined in postgresql.conf file, using the locale variables. The problem appears when you define the locale as en_US, for example, and the user wants to use the comma as decimal separator. I think it does not make sense. If the user wants to use comma as decimal separator the postgresql configuration should be changed. |
