| Summary | 0007251: Possibility to use accounting dimensions in Accounting Reports | |||||||
| Description | Openbravo ERP has the feature of registering in the accounting records (table FACT_ACCT) the accounting dimensions in addition to the needed fields (date, account, debit amount and credit amount). This is something that adds a lot of value to the application as the accounting information is very rich. However, from the accounting reports it is not possible to use these dimensions and thus the feature of accounting dimensions is "half-implemented". It would be great if the following reports had the possibility of filtering and visualizing the accounting dimensions: - General Ledger Report - General Ledger Journal - Trial balance report (this one has the possibility of doing some analysis, but should be improved as the analysis through dimensions is limited to one subaccount). The current accounting dimensions are the following: - Organization - Product - Business Partner - Project - Sales Campaign - Sales Region - 1st Dimension (from "Accounting dimensions" tab of purchase and sales invoices) - 2nd Dimension (from "Accounting dimensions" tab of purchase and sales invoices) | |||||||

The impact of not having this feature is that the accounting information cannot be analyzed from the perspective of all accounting dimensions. Thus, from the user perspective if some accounting dimensions are not usable in accounting reports is as they did not exist. |
