| Description | If a user corrects a spelling mistake using the automatic spell checking Firefox embeds (and this is the only change done in a record), the system does not recognize it as a change and doesn't offer the possibility to save it. | |||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Browser: Firefox 3.0.5 on Mac OS X 10.5.6 Browser extensions: United States English Dictionary 3.0.3 (other browser extensions are also installed) Go to a field that has a spelling mistake. Right click and correct the typo using the dictionary browser extension (see screen shot attached) If this is the only change you have done, the "save" icon in the top bar remains shadowed and you can not save the change. | |||||||
| Proposed Solution | A manual workaround is to delete one character with the keyboard and write it back. Another workaround is to correct the typo with the keyboard from the beginning. | |||||||
