To be confirmed by the developer: My research shows that "GS1 DataBar" [1] is the commercial name of a barcode standard for gift cards. If that is the case, the module should have been named "Gift Card support for GS1 DataBar". By following Wikipedia's article [2], there are several GS1 DataBar types. I'd recommend that the supported types were clearly identified in the module to avoid future misunderstandings. Symbols intended for retail point of sale scanning: GS1 DataBar Omnidirectional GS1 DataBar Stacked Omnidirectional GS1 DataBar Expanded GS1 DataBar Expanded Stacked Also, using a proper use of the Description field in the module central repository would help.
