| Summary | 0039139: In generated javadoc html all links to javadoc of java itself are broken | |||||||
| Description | Apparently javadoc ant task in its 'link' argument does not follow redirects. The url used in build.xml is http where upstream oracle page now has a redirect to https in place. That causes that link option to not be used at all -> All links to standard classes (i.e. Object, String) -> missing | |||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | ant generate.java.doc Check html output and notice it has no links for i.e. Object put prints java.lang.Object as text instead. | |||||||
| Proposed Solution | Change link to https + also change it from java-7 to java-8 as that is now minimum java required in pi. | |||||||
