| Description | It should be possible to enter a "Fix Backdated From" date while creating a new costing rule, otherwise costing rule starting date is used. That starting date would not be enough under some scenarios, for instance booking a landed cost that impacts a receipt dated on an early date than costing rule starting date. System should check that fix backdated from date entered is not part of a period closed. | |||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Create a costing rule starting today (17/10/2014) select "warehouse dimension" and "backdated transactions fixed" checks. Validate costing rule Realize that Fix Backdated From date is set to 17/10/2014 Go to landed cost window and create a new one dated on 21/10/2014. Go to Cost tab and select a landed cost type, enter an amount Go to Receipt tab and select a receipt dated on 10/10/2014 Process landed cost. Below error is shown as the costing rule for 10/10/2014 period does not have a Fix Backdated From date set. | |||||||

If the check "Backdated Transactions Fixed" is not selected costing rule "starting date" is populated in the field "Fix Backdated From" anyway. This needs to be fixed. |

Verified it is possible to enter a fix backdated from date while creating a new costing rule. If no date is entered starting date of the costing rule is set as fix backdated from date. |
