| Steps To Reproduce | As "System" * Go to "Window Tab and Fields" * Select "Product" * Inside its child tab "Tab", select: Product * Inside its child tab "Field", select: Image * Check "Show in Grid View" and save As "Openbravo Admin" * Go to "Product" Notice that the grid column related to image is empty | |||||||||||
| Proposed Solution | For viewing the grid (not editing), a new magnifier glass icon button should be added in the image cell. This new icon button has three states (normal, hover and pressed). Also when the mouse is over the button, the mouse pointer should be the "hand" (cursor: pointer). Summarizing, this new button should act in the same way of the sheet, pencil, ... of the beginning of all grid view rows. Maybe (I repeat, maybe, since I haven't tested) the class that implements this buttons could be re-used. If this new icon button is clicked, the popup showing the image is opened (the same popup that if you click the image in form view) For editing a grid row, the magnifier glass also should be shown (with the same functionality) and also: * Upload icon button (if there is no image uploaded) * Upload icon button + Erase icon button (if there is already an image uploaded) For a disabled image field, only the new magnifier glass button should be shown in all cases (the button is still clickable, since you can view the image) Look attached mockup for a better idea of how it should be. Note that the buttons should be centered in the cell. Note: New images sources are also attached. They should be placed at /modules/org.openbravo.client.application\web/org.openbravo.userinterface.smartclient/openbravo/skins/Default/org.openbravo.client.application/images/grid | |||||||||||

This issue should not have been closed. It does not state that image columns should not be shown in the grid, but the contrary. |
