Summary

0019188: Not possible to manage stock of a product if it already has stock without an attributeset and then you assign an attributeset

Description- Product A without attribute set defined
- Create an inventory movement of that product A.
- Modify the product A and assign a new attribute set.
- Try to create a good shipment for stocked product a (without attribute set)

It is not possible.
Steps To Reproduce1) Create a new Attribute
Org: *
Name: Color

2) Create new Attribute Values for Color
- Red
- Green
- Blue

3) Create a new Attribute Set and assign Color Attribute

4) Create a new product.
Name: chair
Org: *
Important!!: do not assign any Attribute Set

5) In Price tab enter a price list version

6) Create a new Physical Inventory window for chair of 100 quantity and process (Process Inventory Count).

7) Go to Product window and select previously created attribute set to chair product.
Attribute Set: Color
Use Attribute Set Value As: Default
Attribute Set Value: Blue

8) Try to create a new physical inventory for chair product and do not select any attribute set.

9) If you try with a good shipments you get the same error (see attached screenshot)

Realize when you cannot use anymore the chair product without attribute set.

Error: In line 10 the product has no attribute set
Proposed SolutionWhen assigning an attributeset to a product, there should be a check that at least alerts you that there are already stock transactions with this product (without attribute set).
