| Description | There are situations that you have to send a sales order to an address only one time. Drop shipment: Drop shipping is a supply chain management technique in which the retailer does not keep goods in stock, but instead transfers customer orders and shipment details to either the manufacturer or a wholesaler, who then ships the goods directly to the customer. As in all retail businesses, the retailers make their profit on the difference between the wholesale and retail price. | |||||||

Many distribution businesses are typically involved in this in their everyday transactions. I see this very important to be available in Openbravo. There could be a checkbox in the sales order header to specify that this order is a drop shipment (or direct sale), in that case, the good shipment will not deduct from warehouse. Is work progressing in this module? |
