| Description | There are several operations in the normal usage of Openbravo ERP that should only be performed with the system in "Maintenance Mode". Examples include: 1) Rebuilding the system 2) Deleting clients ... Those operations require the users to be logged out. They also have the potential for leaving the system in a corrupted state. So the system should enforce best practices for safe operation: 1) Only system administrator can put the system in Maintenance Mode 2) System should validate that no other users are logged in when system enters maintenance mode (optional: system could provide facility to kill sessions of all other users when entering maintenance mode) 3) Only system administrator should be able to login with the system in maintenance mode 4) System should validate that it is in maintenance mode before starting certain operations (see list above for examples) 5) System should validate that everything is correct (sanity checking) before the system exits maintenance mode and it is open back to users. | |||||||||||
