| Summary | 0010871: Error message need to be changed, while posting the plan line when the accounting period is not opened | |||||||
| Description | when accruals & deferrals plan is generated for a future period which is not yet opened and when the user tries to post the plan lines the system throws a error message as "ProcessRunError\nCreated=0" Error message need to be changed, as "Period needs to be opened before posting the plan lines" | |||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1) move to Financial Management || Accounting || Setup || Fiscal Calendar || Calendar and select the corresponding calender and move to year tab and click new. 2) enter 2011 in year field and save (Not open the period 2011) 3) move to Sales Management || Transactions || Sales Invoice || Header and click new and enter the below details BP: any valid BP Acc type: Deferred income Date from : 01/01/2011 Date to : 05/05/2011 and move to lines tab and click new Product : select any valid product and move back to header tab and click complete button. and also post the invoice by clicking the post button. And move to Accruals & deferrals tab and select any line in form view and click post button. System throws error message as "ProcessRunError\nCreated=0" which is not informative. | |||||||

As per the discussion which I had with Richard, this scope is not part of current functionality. So,I am closing this issue. |
