Steps To Reproduce In QA testing Client, create a new legal entity named China. Do not include accounting, but create it as Legal with Accounting.

In the organization window, search China org, allow period control, select a fiscal calendar and EUR General Ledger configuration. Enter EUR as currency.
Set it as ready.

Go to Costing Rule and create a new one by do NOT selecting Warehouse Dimension. Starting date 01-01-2014. Validate the costing rule.

Create a product for China org. Go to price tab and select "Purchase" Price list, enter unit and list price equal to 100.

Create a Goods Receipt for China org and that product of 50 units. Date 16/10/2014. Complete and Post it once costing background process has been run.

Go to product window, search by the product and in the Costing tab verify that the cost shown is 5.000 (50 units x 100 e/unit).

Go to Costing Rule and create a new one by selecting Warehouse Dimension. Validate the costing rule.
Take into account that starting date should be the same one as receipt, in this example 16/10/2014.

Navigate to product window, search the product created and go to "Transaction" tab, realize that besides the receipt, there are two additional transactions caused by costing rule opening and closing.

Closing one cost is same as receipt one. Opening one does not have a cost.

Go to landed cost window and create a new one for China organization dated on 16/10/2014 (previously you should have created a landed cost type for China org).
In Cost tab enter a landed cost type related to a product. Amount 200 EUR.
In Receipt tab select the good receipt just created.

Go to header and process the landed cost.

Navigate to product window, transaction cost and realize that the amount of 200 is being considered in the columns "Total Cost" and "Unit Cost", therefore an amount of 5.200 is shown.

Besides that, a cost adjustment has been created for the opening inventory transaction, go there and post it.

Go back to product window, search the product. Navigate to costing tab and realize that there are two lines having 31-12-9999 as ending date and that should not be the case. See image atached.
