Summary 0019231: Ugly UI elements in "Manage Workspace" area
Revision 2011-12-02 16:29 by dbaz
Description There are some ugly UI elements in "Manage Workspace" area:

* Some margins ("Admin Others" dialog space between the second combo and the "Edit" button, ...) All margins between dialog combos and the buttons should be the same.

* If you click "Add Widget" or "Admin Others" and the dialog is opened, you need to click the top right X in order to close it. It should be done also by clicking again in the title ("Add Widget" or "Admin Others")

* Once you add a widget using the "Add Widget" dialog, it closes itself. This should not happen and it should remains opend (but with a clear "Widget" combo value)

* Inside "Admin Others" dialog, there are two combos without title. In the generic case the titles should be "Level" and "Value" respectively. In the case we are with the "System Administrator" role (there is just one combo with this role) it should be "Level"

* Inside "Add Widget" dialog, if there is no element selected in "Widget" combo, the "Add" button should be disabled

* Inside "Admin Others" dialog, in the generic case, if there is no element selected in "Level" combo, the "Value" combo should not be shown and the "Edit" button should be disabled. Once you select something in "Level" combo, the "Value" combo os shown. Once you select something in "Value" combo, the "Edit" button is enabled

* Inside "Admin Others" dialog, in the "System Administrator" rol case, if there is no element selected in "Level" combo the "Edit" button should be disabled. Once you select something in "Level" combo, the "Edit" button is enabled.

* Inside "Admin Others" dialog, when you fill the combos and press "Edit" button, the new shown layout should:
- Show all the text.
- Automatically open the "Add Widget" dialog (if it was hidden)
- Be separated from the "Add Widget" dialog.
- Have the same width than the "Add Widget" dialog.
In attached [EditingWorkspace.png] there is the current (ugly) state with "Add Widget" dialog already opened.
