Description | In many cases where one selector depends on the selected value of another field, once the initial "independent" field's value is set the "dependent" field's value is not checked before allowing allowing the user to save the record. This means that a record can be saved with erroneous values if the user doesn't take care to double-check that a dependent selector field's value has been reset to a valid value given a change in the independent selector field. |
