Summary 0014948: "Find" option in "Match using Imported Bank Statement" is unusable
Revision 2010-10-20 23:59 by rmorley
Steps To Reproduce Create a data set of transactions in a Financial Account. See Screenshot_1 attached.
Import a bank statement that has one unmatched line. See Screenshot_2 attached.
Click on "Find" and the grid shown in Screenshot_3 is displayed.
This is not enough information to find a transaction.

There does then not appear to be any mechanism by which you can select an transaction line in the "Find" grid as there are no checkboxes on the lines.

Description "Find" option in "Match using Imported Bank Statement" is unusable for two reasons:
a) The grid shown once you click on the "Find" option is not displaying a meaningful dataset; it only displays the Transaction date and the amount.
This is not enough information for a user to "Find" a transaction.

b) If the user does find a transaction based on the date and amount there does not appear to be a mechanism for selecting that transaction.
