0007344: Feature to override/change implementation used to a component.

DescriptionThis feature is about the possibility to be able to specify a different customized implementation class for a component.

This different class must then abide to the same public API as the original one and all users should be use the custom one instead.

Stefan,

this issue is not clear enough. It would be understood only to people who participated in the discussions you had with Ismael.
Can you please elaborate more and make this feature request accessible to everybody in the Community?
An example would greatly help.
