| Description | Some products, like Services products, are not available in the Browse section as they should be added to a product. However, it is possible to add an orphan Service using the EAN code. See steps. | |||||||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. In the Backoffice, go to Product window and seek for the "Repair boots" product 2. Edit the record by adding an EAN code 3. In the POS, use the Search to try to find "Repair boots". As it is a Service, no result is shown as expected. 4. Using the scanner, scan the EAN and notice the product is added as shown in the attached screenshot. 5. Alternatively, go to the Scan panel and enter the EAN by hand, the effect is the same. | |||||||||||

When fixing this issue, please check also issue 0050313 as they look similar. In particular, issue 0050313 refers only to Services product, while this one alerts about the possibility of this problem affecting products that are not Services type but that are not in the keymap for other reasons. |
