I believe that this FR is no longer applicable as the Ajax grid is now implemented in all selectors and the record range is no longer meaningful.

Please reopen otherwise.

It seems that the grid in the normal windows does adjust itself in the REV 11392.
This makes the Record Range setting within the Session Preferences form obsolete though.

However, the selector grid does not resize automatically and always shows 20 records at a time with a awkward slider on the right side of the window, outside the boundaries. See screenshot.

Also, what does "Selector registry range" in the Session preferences do now?

I believe these Session Preference settings need to be revised since they seem to not do anything anymore.

Please check issue 5650, there we introduced at least one new user for this setting. This window is still pure html based (not datagrid.js based) and now uses this property as a maximum number of rows for the window.
