| Summary | 0021795: Product selector on asset should not restrict to products that belong to a sales price list | |||||||
| Description | There is a product selector on the asset entity that allows to select a product associated with that item. Currently the selector only allows to select products that belong to a price list marked as sales price list. That is not correct. Most assets are purchased but never sold (unless they are disposed through a sale) and therefore they do not need to belong to a sale price list. | |||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1) Create a new price list and makes sure that sales price list is set to N 2) Create a new product and associate it to that price list 3) Create an asset and try to select the price list - you cannot. 4) Modify the price list and set sales price list to Y 5) Now you can select the product | |||||||
| Proposed Solution | You should be able to associate any product to an asset. | |||||||

The issue is fixed but due to MP17 packaging problems it cannot be pushed. Due to that reason, the issue's severity comes down to minor in order not to fail in the SLAs. |
