| Summary | 0020210: Process that execute a Jasper Report after clicking a button always fails | ||||||||||
| Description | I'm trying to create a button associated to a process that print a Jasper Report. I created the button and the relative process. When I click this button, the result is always a new browser window with the error: "You do not have sufficient privileges to access this page". The process is defined with this parameters: - Data Access Level: Client/Organization - UI Pattern: Standard - Report: No - Jasper Report: Yes - JR Template name: @basedesign@/my/correct/path/template.jrxml | ||||||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | - Create a new column in a database table, type character, lenght 1 - Create a process to print the Jasper Report template with parameters as explained in http://wiki.openbravo.com/wiki/Report_Example#Application_Dictionary [^] - Add the button in Tables and Columns and link it to the process created - Add the button in Windows Tab & Fields - Recompile e restart Tomcat - Click the button created | ||||||||||
| Proposed Solution | A possible workaround is to set the process UI pattern to manual, remove the jasper flag, set the report one, and code the java servlet that loads and renders the jrxml template. | ||||||||||

Setting as design defect, this is not implemented in current WAD processes. It needs to be decided whether it makes sense to be implemented just with the new processes to come or also for WAD. |
