| Description | At the moment processes can only be applied to one record at a time. We offer manual windows for multiple-at-once but in fact this is clumsy. A good example is Create Invoices from Order Window. You should be able to do this from the sales order window instead (or maybe in addition to, as users might be used to the old skool way of doing it). | |||||||||||

| Proposed Solution | Validation can be done upfront or after pressing the button. TBD. Here some ideas for the Create Invoices from Order process: - filters are set as implicit filter. As this task belongs to a specific role you can set these filters per role - filters are not set at at all. You just select a few orders and hit the "Create invoices from selected" button and then all selected objects are checked for their status. Then, if some records are not eligible, you can either overrule (e.g. creating an invoice now already, in spite of having set the invoice terms to x days) or skip. We could ask the user at this point. - you can also create invoices per line. Makes it easy to do partial invoicing | |||||||||||
