| Summary | 0011114: Incorrect on-screen layout for Enterprise Module Management | |||||||
| Description | There are some issues for Enterprise Module Management window. First issue: Cancel button is not required (it takes you to a blank page actually) Second: Description panel is always blank Third: When an update is installed, a message "Update available" is shown as a link. But link does nothing. | |||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Go to Enterprise Module Management window having an update on a module (like Taxes module). You will see a window like the one in the attach. | |||||||
| Proposed Solution | -Cancel button has to be removed -Description should show a meaningful description of the data. If it remains blank, then it's better to remove it. -"Update available" message should not be a link. Anyway, I would not remove the message, since user has to have a clear vision about why an already installed module respawn in that window. | |||||||

No regression risk. Test plan I: - Go to Enterprise Module Management - Ensure cancel button is not displayed Test plan II: - Go to Enterprise Module Management - Click on any line and ensure the description field is updated Test plan III: - Ensure you have a dataset with an update available. You can modify the checksum of a previously applied dataset to simulate an update. - Go to Enterprise Module Management - Ensure the "Update available" message is displayed just for the modules with an update available - The "Update available" message should be displayed as a plain text Test plan IV: - Go to initial org setup - Ensure the module's tree works fine Test plan V: - As System Administrator, go to Initial Client Setup - Ensure the module's tree works fine Test plan VI: - As System Administrator, go to Module Management window - Ensure the module's tree works fine. Specially, the Update available link must show the module's update information |
