Summary

0020725: For OnDemand licenses used outside of onDemand relation of 'Instance purpose' to applied restrictions is not clear.

Description

When having an instance activated with an onDemand license and using it outside of the ondemand platform a few restrcitions apply.

a.) concurrent users are limited to 2
b.) Only system adminitrator can login when the instance purpose is P and the purpose must be changed, the the restriction b does vanish.

However this second part is not properly explained in the messages shown in the case. In the follow three messages below it is mentioned that the instance purpose can/should be change, but no info about why and when happens then.

Only the wiki page shown when using the 'Learn more' link of the message 1.) does explain that detail.

Probably also the Learn more link of step 3 should be adjusted to also point to the ondemand specific wiki page and perhaps all the wording reviewed to make that detail (restriction and how it can be lifted) clear.

Activate an instance with an license of type: OnDemand
use it outside of the ondemand platform
Try to login
Review the message shown
