Is this a defect or a feature request?

I can see that if we were to make this change some existing customers would not like it.

Perhaps we should add an additional filter that allows to filter by tax date instead of invoice date. In that case, this is a feature request.

we think the mandatary should be a filter by date tax, and the feature request could be a filter by date invoice

After internal review, we have decided to consider this a feature request.

The product works as designed and we consider the design adequate to address the business requirements.

To handle the requirements of this implementation, an additional filter can be easily added as customer extension.

Of course, we would be open to accelerate the delivery of this feature request if the customer and partner are interested in sponsoring its development.
