| Description | Openbravo already allows to store information about the name that the provider gives to products in the Product/Purchasing tab. However, a similar option does not exist for sales. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1) Go to Master Data Management || Product || Product >> Purchasing Notice Vendor Product No | ||||
| Proposed Solution | It would be useful to be capable of storing the name the customer gives to our products. For this, a new tab inside both Product and Business partner window should be created. This tab will be named 'Customer Product Name'. The fields in 'Customer Product Name' inside 'Product' window would be: * Client (mandatory and read-only) * Organization (mandatory and read-only) * Product (mandatory and read-only) * Business Partner (mandatory editable selector) * Customer Product Name (mandatory editable text field) The fields in 'Customer Product Name' inside 'Business Partner' window would be: * Client (mandatory and read-only) * Organization (mandatory and read-only) * Business Partner (mandatory and read-only) * Product (mandatory editable selector) * Customer Product Name (mandatory editable text field) This name could be used in shipments, invoices and other documents we give our partners. For this, the following report prints will be modified in order to display customer product names instead of the product name of the product tab: * Simple Sales Order * Sales Order * Goods Shipments * Sales Invoices Additionally, it would be useful if the product selectors also searched this field. For this, product selector will need to be modified or a new one created. | ||||
