0007765: Withholding report shows error message when used with a newly created client
I launch the withholding report. I have no data to show. The error message is "Error:zero"
Use initial client setup to create a new client.
Login into the admin role of the new client
Use initial organisation setup to create a new organisation
Go to Financial Management > Accounting > Analysis Tools > Withholding report
Use the printer icon in the toolbar to start the report without filling in the required fields.

This is another deficiency of the ErrorTextParserPOSTGRE class. When the error message is not about a constraint violation, but contains a text like "text" then no error is displayed to the user instead of the original error message.

As the report shows another error message when used with a newly created client/organisation this issue has been splitted.

The display of "zero" instead of a real error-message was split of into issue 7781 and solved.

The remaining problem of the report not working in the written case will be worked on in this issue.

That report is not available in Openbravo 3 anymore, so no change required for that codeline.

Openbravo provides community support only for the latest Openbravo version, which is Openbravo 3. This version has significantly improved financial flow, filtering, performance, etc and this issue is not present there. Upgrade path from Openbravo 2.50 to latest Openbravo version is available so we recommend to upgrade your instance to get this issue fixed.
