I've tested this issue in 2.50 and 2.40 and I'm not able to reproduce it:
-All the windows I've tested appear in Italian. Please, could specify which are the ones you see in English?
-About the lost labels when exporting: if the original xml files where obtained from an older version, when importing it is possible that some elements were removed from the application, in this case these translations are not imported and when it is exported again they disappear. You can check which elements where not exported by looking at the log. Is this your case?

The problem shows itsself when we use "openbravo admin" role and italian language.
In this case many windows under 'configurazione del sistema' (i.e. valuta) are in english and not in italian. the problem doesn't happen with "system administrator" role and italian language. |

I've tested again and I cannot see this behavior, see attached file (itIT-valuta-admin.png), it is how I see the valuta window as Openbravo Admin (as System I also see it translated).
Is it happening only in read-only tabs? If it is so, it might be caused by this issue 0005154, which is already fixed in r2.40 branch.
I would like to do another remark. Note that in the picture I've attached every label is translated except "Price precision". I've noticed this label was translated in the AD_FIELD_TRL_it_IT.xml, but it is not in AD_ELEMENT_TRL_it_IT.xml. As this field is centrally maintained, its value is replaced with the element's value when synchronize terminology process is run. I guess this also could be the problem you report about losing some translated labels. I encourage you to follow the note in http://wiki.openbravo.com/wiki/index.php/Translating_Openbravo#Structure [^] document where it recommends to first translate elements, then synchronize terminology and finally translate fields. Anyway there is a reported issue about it: 0008151.

we downloaded from repository the updated version of wad.java. We compile all the project. then we imported the translation files and compile again the project. The problem remains as you can see in screenshot-openbravo.png attached.
we downloaded also 2.50 version but we see the problem also there. |

I've tested it again following these steps:
-Download 2.50 virtual appliance
-Import the attached transaltion
-Test valuta window with System and Admin roles
I was not able to reproduce it. |
