0006412: Support for multiple tabs
Ability to see have multiple transactions open in a tab-like user interface.

Currently, when you initiate a new navigation action like open a new form from the menu, or navigating through a hyperlink or navigating to a record from a grid, the starting transaction is closed. Instead, the user should have the option to keep that transaction open and work with the new one in parallel.
Having a tab-like interface similar to Yahoo Mail.

Paolo, it is already possible to run OB in multiple browser tabs at the time without having to login again. At least for what I have tried on 2.50. What is the "choice button" you mentioned?

I have added a mockup showing an idea.

Comment on the mockup: I do not like it as these tabs are too easily confused with the browser tabs.
The idea is that the Openbravo application is fully contained within one browser tab but within that tab multiple UI contexts could be active.

See the attached Yahoo Mail for an example of how you can distinguish between browser tabs and applications tabs.
In this case, you have different tabs for different windows (some of them are email folders, others are contacts or chat sessions) and for different transactions (one tab per email).

Tabs inside the application window are preferred over browser tabs. However, we must cater for users opening different pages / views in different tabs. Fine for different (independent) processes, careful with interdependancies. Also: in-grid-editing on one tab and the same records in form view open on other tabs.

Attached another concept mock for tabs inside the application window.
