Summary0005827: Commission calculation basis - support shipments and payments
DescriptionNowadays, commission calculations are based on invoices and orders. It would be useful to have also commission calculations based on:
* Receipts/Shipments
* Payments
Steps To Reproduce1) Go to 'Sales Management || Setup || Commission'.
2) Take a look at 'Calculation Basis' drop-down list.
Proposed SolutionIn fact, calculation of commissions based on receipts/shipments is to be developed. Please refer to C_COMMISSION_PROCESS procedure [1], lines 189 to 212 "IF(v_DocBasisType='R') THEN".

For clarification:

1) First of all, this option appeared as available when it was not implemented yet. This bug is now solved and documented in the wiki http://wiki.openbravo.com/wiki/FAQ#What_are_features_of_Openbravo_ERP_that_are_not_fully_implemented.3F [^]

2) Second, the translation of "Receipt" into Spanish in this field was "Ingreso", which doesn't seem the right translation and created some confusion to clients (compounded with the fact the feature was not implemented as stated above).

3) Third, the client's request is to be able to calculate commissions when they receive the actual payment (the cash).
